There are lots of songs about cars in American music -- Chuck Berry's 'Maybelline', Memphis Minnie's 'Chauffeur', Robert Johnson's 'Terraplane Blues' -- but as far as I know relatively few specifically about hybrid cars. This song is an attempt to fill that gap.
